Welcome to my guitar page. I have pictures of not only my guitar but also of different chords.
Now just so you know I am no professional, I only know a few chords, but I hope all of the information on this page is helpful to beginners (like my self) and I hope the experienced guitar players approve of this page.

Now I want to explain what Frets are, Frets are between each golden rod. See, like on the A chord, A chord is between a Fret.
Sep 27 2014. I have been learning a LOT!! I have been taking lessons from Robin (the guitar player at church) and now I've been learning how to pick (on my guitar) and its difficult but it will be worth it :o)

Here is the G chord. You put your first finger on the 5 string (counting from the bottom string up) which is in the second Fret.
And you put your second finger on the 6 string and your third finger on the 1 string, both of these fingers are on the third Fret.
And you put your second finger on the 6 string and your third finger on the 1 string, both of these fingers are on the third Fret.
This is the A chord.
You put your first finger on the 4 string, the second finger on the 3 string and the third finger on the 2 string. All is on the second Fret.
You put your first finger on the 4 string, the second finger on the 3 string and the third finger on the 2 string. All is on the second Fret.
This is a D chord.
You put your first finger on the 3 string, your second finger on the 1 string and your third finger on the 2 string. Your first two fingers are on the second Fret and your third finger is on the third Fret.
D chord is a high but low note.
You put your first finger on the 3 string, your second finger on the 1 string and your third finger on the 2 string. Your first two fingers are on the second Fret and your third finger is on the third Fret.
D chord is a high but low note.
This is the E chord.
You put your first finger on the 3 string (on the first Fret) your second finger on the 5 string and your third finger on the 4 string (done on the second Fret).
E chord is a low but high note, more low than high though.
You put your first finger on the 3 string (on the first Fret) your second finger on the 5 string and your third finger on the 4 string (done on the second Fret).

This is the F chord.
You put your first finger on the 1 and 2 string (on the second Fret) third finger on the 3 string (on the 2 Fret) and your third finger on the 4 string (on the 3 Fret).
F chord is a very deep note.
You put your first finger on the 1 and 2 string (on the second Fret) third finger on the 3 string (on the 2 Fret) and your third finger on the 4 string (on the 3 Fret).

This is the C chord.
You put your first finger on the 2 string (on the first Fret) your second finger on the forth string (on the second fret) and your third finger on the 5 string (on the third fret).
C chord is a low note, like the F chord.

This is the Dmaj7. Its called D major.
You put your first finger on the 3 string, your second finger on the 2 string, your third finger on the 1 string (in the second fret).
